Obama Misinterprets Constitutional Law and Terrorism Cases

Brian Kane 12 February 2009

The Washington Times reported about Obama's last week meeting with the family members of victims of terrorism. There he made clear factual errors about the constitution and the Classified Information Procedures Act (CIPA). It revealed that Obama's decision to close down Guantanamo was a political promise to his anti-war voters and not something that was decided on facts and clear understanding of the law.

The Failed Stimulus Plan by Geithner

Brian Kane 12 February 2009

Tim Geithner the secretary of treasury who was so strongly defended by the Obama administration because he was the only candidate for the job, came up with a plan--except that it wasn't really a plan it was more of a disorganized movement toward action.

We Have Nothing to Fear but Fear Itself

Franklin Roosevelt Fear

Recently, Barack Obama has been trying to solve the economic crisis through his stimulus package. Now that the stimulus has passed Obama has to make sure the money is actually used to stop the hiring freeze and free up credit. This is a difficult task, but more importantly, confidence needs to be restored in the market. Instead Obama has been spreading more pessimism.

CEO Pay Cap. Why Not Hollywood Cap?

Brian Kane 09 February 2009

Recently, Barack Obama announced that CEO pay should be capped at $500,000 maximum pay. Of course, as a supportive US citizen I said "Thank you Mr. President!" At least Obama is trying to do something to make sure the money being used for bailouts will not be abused on bloated salaries. However, if only we could do the same for the salaries of hollywood actors and instead use that money to create more jobs for movies.

Unemployment Figures and 2009 Hiring Freeze

Brian Kane 08 February 2009

Unemployment figures keep rising and everyone is wondering what the Democrats are going to do about it. Even though the Democrats who caused the housing crisis via the CRA are mostly at fault. It gets worse--the Democrats are not only the cause of the problem and have successfully but falsely blamed it on the Republican president--they are not really fixing the problem.

CBO: Obama Stimulus Plan is Harmful

Brian Kane 05 February 2009

The Congressional Budget Office said that the Obama stimulus package will hurt the economy in the long run. This came as bad news for Democrats in a day when they were trying to convince even Republicans to vote for the bill.

How Can Obama Fix the Economy?

Brian Kane 01 February 2009

Stimulus Package

People get caught up in ideology and method names rather than analyzing methods, creating hybrids, and finding solutions to the economic problems. One must visualize the economy and understand what the current problems are and what variables need fixing and how to motivate the market and consumers to fix the economy themselves. That is government's job and Obama needs to realize that government is there to motivate people to solve the problems not to solve problems.

Brian Kane 30 January 2009

Rasmussen reported that only 42% of Americans supported the Democratic Stimulus Plan. Poligazette notes the lower approval rating of this plan "despite a PR offensive launched by Democrats days ago."

economists oppose obama

The non-partisan scholar group Cato Institute has criticized Obama's latest 2009 stimulus plan. The group has been known to criticize President Bush's policies, President Obama's policies, and John McCain's policies.

The following document published by the Cato Institute expresses deep disagreement of Obama's declaration that more government is needed to solve today's problems. "In fact, many economists disagree," says the Cato Institute.

The document is signed by hundreds of economists and even Nobel laureates.

President Obama Accuses the US of Being Colonialist

Brian Kane 28 January 2009

Obama Arab Television

Poligazette was paying very close attention to Barack Obama's interview with Al Arabiya, an Arab news channel.

When Al Arabiya said to Obama that America "was the only Western Power that was not colonial." Obama simply said "Right." You would think a patriot like Obama would have said "Excuse me, but the United States still isn't a colonial power." If such a statement had occurred I would be here applauding Obama.
