Hamas Crimes Against Humanity
I understand you want to be on the side of the underdog, but what about the human rights of Israelis who are being attacked everyday by rocket fire. In 2008, approximately 3,278 Qassam rockets hit Israel, many injuring and murdering Israelis. When we bombed Afghanistan to destroy Al Qaeda and killed civilians there, where were your protests? That's because you liberals are hypocrites. If it is your family or countrymen getting killed it's horrible, but if it's a couple Jews, that's OK. Watch these videos.
You think detaching yourself from Israeli suffering will make you objective, just because Israel has a "sophisticated military" it's acceptable to condemn them? Hamas has a military too, they are after all now a democratically elected government of Palestine.
Let us not forget that Adolf Hitler was also elected democratically and so has the president of Iran. They even had their own political parties.

The truth is, violence breeds more violence. And it's up to the Palestinian people to rid themselves of violence by not teaching their children to kill Muslims, Jews, and Christians. They need to follow the real Qur'an not their violent extremist ideology.

Great Article, some minor thing...a technical issue
saddam was not democratically elected
ba'ath party seized power in the coup of '69, he was made vice-president to al-baqr, then he got rid of that guy and became president. during his time he had many elections but they were rigged. Otherwise a very candid article.
