Liberal Flop The Day the Earth Stood Still
The Day the Earth Stood Still movie starring Keanu Reeves was created as a remake to the 1951 film of the same name, with a budget of $80,000,000 it currently has grossed $202,899,000 in profit. The movie was probably one of the worst alien movies anyone has ever seen, and the message was purely liberal propaganda.
I thought my friend was joking when he said Keanu Reeves was a bad actor, but apparently he really was.
With a budget of 80,000,000 the film was only able to produce scenes of a huge red laser (that was hard), a horde of bugs flying around eating a stadium, and a big flashy sphere, I wonder where the rest of the money went, Keanu Reeves?
The film plot starts off with a UFO heading for the earth, in which everyone seems to think it's some sort of comet or meteor, a little unrealistic considering the incredibly fast rate it was coming that no comet/meteor could match and then it took them a while to realize it was an alien even though that is usually the first assumption.
The acting was horrible, the stars were just bad actors except I guess we can give some credit to Keanu Reeves for keeping a nice serious face and acting exactly like the character Neo in the Matrix.
The big sphere UFO lands and the US army surrounds the UFO.
The alien that comes out of the space ship looks around for a few minutes, raises his hand as a handshake and apparently the "crazy right-wing nut army soldiers" start shooting at him and injuring the alien. According to this liberal director, the US army is cruel and doesn't recognize handshakes or no anything about alien-first-contact-protocol.
Finally the alien is captured and interrogated and the alien uses some crazy unexplainable powers to kill all the humans interrogating him and then runs off on a wild journey to who knows where.
The Message of the Film
A human of course becomes friendly with him and eventually we realize this alien and his race wants to destroy the human race not the earth, because he says: "I want to save the earth, and you humans are destroying it."
Well there you have it, they finally made an alien movie where a superior intelligent alien decides that destroying the human race is fun, and because humans are causing global warming and eating its resources.
Can you get any more cliche and absurd than that?
Big Hollywood decides it has to warn humans that using earth's resources will lead to alien annihilation.
No, wait... Don't stop reading... It get's worse./strong>
In a cliche scene, with the alien looking at a professor's blackboard full of equations and then randomly fixing these irrational equations with his own irrational equations and the professor going "Is that even possible?," would make any mathematician bite his tongue.
After that scene, and a cliche conversation with the professor convincing the alien that "We can change!" Reminiscent of this year's "Yes We Can" and "Change" slogans of Barack Obama's campaign.
Of course, the alien convinced by this inferior stupid human decides to save the planet from his own alien bugs that are eating up everything on the planet ( I suppose the bugs recognize and avoid trees and the natural environment ).
Hence, as if alarmist predictions of death and destruction through global warming (or cooling now?) wasn't alarming enough, an angry alien race that loves the earth too much will destroy the human race if we don't "change".
I guess, whatever it takes to convince people of an unproven problem in order to promote a manifested solution: The Democratic Party.
When will they understand that Democrats want to be the cops that create crimes in order to keep their jobs as cops or senators or representatives.

Oh, I hated that movie. I saw it and I was like "this is really bad for such a huge budget." Thanks for the laughs!
I didn't realize this in the movie. Thank you for informing me!
I just went skiing! Global Warming rocks!
Haha, Global Cooling maybe!
Did you actually watch this movie?
Yes, I did. Where else would I get the details for it?
I really liked Keanu Reeves in Street Kings, so I wanted to see this one.
