Modernizing Conservative Republicans and informing you of the events and elections.

CrimsonPolitics no longer supports neither the Republican Party nor the conservative movement (nor the tea party movement) nor the libertarian movement any longer. We've found that progressives and Democrats are simply more correct on a huge number of issues (social, economical, foreign policy) and we have changed our stances as a collective group. We also apologize if we mislead you about Obama, he has been doing a great job on the economy based on the evidence. (we still do not like Nancy Pelosi though, she is still corrupt; but honestly Newt Gingrich and John Boehner are much worse)

Only 42% Support Obama Stimulus Plan

Brian Kane 30 January 2009

Rasmussen reported that only 42% of Americans supported the Democratic Stimulus Plan. Poligazette notes the lower approval rating of this plan "despite a PR offensive launched by Democrats days ago."

Luckily, the Republicans voted against the plan and even offered an alternative solution that would cost half as much. The Republicans are already making a comeback for 2010.

The popularity of the package is slowly dwindling. Republicans need to focus on the pork barrel, pet projects, and weak effect the plan will have on the economy.

According to Dick Morris, Obama will continue to promote stimulus packages except that they are actually socialist plans that are disguised as stimulus. Although, many may not agree and this might be a little bit of speculation--we should still watch out for plans that might drastically change the US economy.

We should be skeptical of all solutions.

Even Putin warned the West recently that socialism does not work and that we should avoid bailing out companies or interfering too much with the economy.

I think Obama should be listening to the conservatives out there and finding the best solution, because if his plans fail to bring the economy out of the recession, he could lose the next election. If he wants to win the next election, he must be pragmatic in his solutions.

Hah, the Democrats are finally losing ground. It doesn't take long for them to mess up everything and show their true colors.

Very interesting article. Thanks
